This redesign affected all of Starbucks® core coffee packaging sold domestically and internationally in retail stores and CPG [Consumer Packaged Goods]. Due to the enormity of this undertaking, a press test involving many different impressions was created and printed. These tests were referenced repeatedly by both creative and production as we progressed in the unique digital color builds for each blend. They helped us determine the ink color and tints based on the interplay and legibility of the artwork both on and off the shelf, and ensured that all of the packages worked as both stand-alones and married back to the family.

Cara joined Starbucks Global Creative to help develop and release files for new core coffee packaging.
